Henry Jackman to Score Disney’s STRANGE WORLD Animated Feature
STRANGE WORLD is an upcoming computer-animated science-fiction action adventure film which is the 61st animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Directed by Don Hall, written and co-directed by Qui Nguyen, the film follows the Clades, a legendary family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission – to explore mysterious planet inhabited by surreal lifeforms. The film features the voices of Jake Gyllenhaal, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union, Lucy Liu, and Dennis Quaid.
According to a twitter post by MovieScore Wire reporting a listing of upcoming film scoring assignments by MovieScore Media, Henry Jackman (THE GRAY MAN, THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, JUMANJI 2017 & 2019, KONG: SKULL ISLAND, Disney’s BIG HERO 6) has been announced as the movie’s composer.
The film is set to be theatrically released in the United States on November 23, 2022.
