Available today from Walt Disney Records, the original soundtrack from ILMxLAB’s Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge features score by Emmy® and BAFTA-winning composer Bear McCreary (FOUNDATION, OUTLANDER, GOD OF WAR), composer Joseph Trapanese (SHADOW AND BONE, THE WITCHER, PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND), and composer/technical audio designer, Danny Piccione (VADER IMMORTAL: A STAR WARS VR SERIES — EPISODE III, MYTH: A FROZEN TALE).
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is a virtual reality adventure game originally released on November 19, 2020 for the Oculus Quest systems. The graphics were designed by ILMxLab. The game is a virtual-reality experience inspired by Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (known, in canon, as the Black Spire spaceport on the planet, Batuu) at Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom of Disneyland and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. The full gaming experience is now available on the Meta Quest 2 platform (formerly Oculus Quest).
