James Newton Howard Scores New FANTASTIC BEASTS Movie – Soundtrack Forthcoming – Two Singles Released Today
WaterTower Music will release the full soundtrack album later this month, but has offered two tracks from the FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE soundtrack as samples, which are available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms – or listen to them below.
FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE is the newest adventure in the Wizarding World™ created by J.K. Rowling, which will be in theaters internationally beginning 7 April 2022 and in North America on April 15, 2022.
James Newton Howard’s soundtrack for FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE is scheduled for release next week, on April 8, 2022.
The two tracks released today, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” and “The Room We Require” are certain to delight fans. The music was crafted by one of the film industry’s most versatile and honored composers, nine-time Oscar nominee, Emmy and Grammy winner James Newton Howard, who has returned to the Wizarding World to again create the music that underscores the characters’ adventures, as he did in FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, and FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD. Both tracks are now available for digital purchase and streaming at these links.
ABOUT FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE: Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
The third installment in the Fantastic Beasts series is directed by David Yates (director of the last four HARRY POTTER movies and all of the FANTASTIC BEATS movies to date), and stars Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, William Nadylam, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Victoria Yeates, Katherine Waterston and Mads Mikkelsen.
