Shudder’s CREEPSHOW Horror Anthology Season 2 Comes to Blu-Ray – Featuring Scores by Christopher Drake
Greg Nicotero’s horror anthology TV show CREEPSHOW premiered on Shudder in 2019, serving as a continuation of the 1982 film of the same name, while ignoring the sequel films CREEPSHOW 2 (1987) and CREEPSHOW 3 (2006). The series features seventeen chilling episodes with two horror stories per episode.
The show debuted on September 26, 2019, with A CREEPSHOW ANIMATED SPECIAL releasing on October 30, 2020 and A CREEPSHOW HOLIDAY SPECIAL premiering on December 18, 2020. A second season of the series opened on April 1, 2021, and a third on September 23, 2021.
Each of the television series and specials were composed by Christopher Drake, known for scoring (Blumhouse’s THE MANOR, DC’s BATMAN: DEATH IN THE FAMILY, INJUSTICE 2 video game, HELLBOY animated, and many more DC superhero animated films).
With the second season coming to Blu-ray on December 7th (the first season was released to DVD/Blu-Ray via RLJ Entertainment on June 2, 2020), fans of the series and its musical scores may enjoy the show in full Blu-Ray high-resolution transfers and vivid audio, including high quality presentation of Drake’s music, and a creepy handful of bonus features.
