Brian Reitzell scores IFC Midnight’s new horror movie, RELIC
Scheduled to open on July 10th in select theaters and on demand from IFC Midnight, the new horror film RELIC is about a daughter, mother, and grandmother WHO are haunted by a manifestation of dementia that consumes their family’s home. Directed by Natalie Erika James in her first feature film directorial assignment after working on several impressive shorts as writer, director, or assistant/second unit director, RELIC stars Emily Mortimer (SPECTRAL, TRANSIBERIAN, MATCH POINT, Jane Banks in MARY POPPINS RETURNS), Bella Heathcote (THE NEON DEMON, PRIDE AND PREJUICE AND ZOMBIES, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE), and Robyn Nevin (GODS OF EGYPT, THE EYE OF THE STORM, THE MATRIX RELOADED/REVOLUTIONS). The film is co-written by James and Christian White (CLICKBAIT).
The movie will feature a brooding score by Brian Reitzell (HANNIBAL, AMERICAN GODS, BLACK MIRROR: BANDERSNATCH).
