Paul Haslinger Scoring Paul W. S. Anderson’s MONSTER HUNTER Movie
Former Tangerine Dream alumnus and film composer Paul Haslinger is set to score MONSTER HUNTER, a new film from his frequent directorial collaborator, Paul W.S. Anderson (DEATH RACE, THE THREE MUSKETEERS and RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER).
The film, based on the popular Capcom video game, stars Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, T.I., Ron Perlman, Meagan Good and Diego Boneta and is about a team of soldiers who are transported to a new world where they must engage in a desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers.
MONSTER HUNTER “will reunite me with Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich,” Haslinger revealed in an interview posted last Monday at thefourohfive.com. “MONSTER HUNTER is based on the computer game of the same name. Set for release in early 2020, it will be larger than life and a great opportunity to come up with more musical monster madness.”
The movie is scheduled for release by Screen Gems on September 4, 2020.
