Benjamin Walfisch to score DC’s SHAZAM
Warner Bros has dropped their trailer for New Line’s SHAZAM today (watch it below). David F. Sandberg (LIGHTS OUT, ANNABELLE: CREATION) directs the origin story that stars Zachary Levi as the titular DC Super Hero, along with Asher Angel as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong in the role of Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. The film tells the story of Batson, a high school boy who is given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word.
Meanwhile Film Music Reporter has confirmed that composer Benjamin Wallfisch (IT, LIGHTS OUT, HELLBOY [2019], co-composer on BLADE RUNNER 2049, HIDDEN FIGURES, DUNKIRK) is reuniting with David F. Sandberg to score SHAZAM.
