ANNABELLE: CREATION Soundtrack Due Out on CD Aug 25

Silva Screen will release Benjamin Wallfisch’s score for the horror film sequel, ANNABELLE: CREATION, on CD on August 25.

Annabelle creation ost wallfischThe new film follows the worldwide success of 2014’s ANNABELLE, which in turn was a prequel to 2013’s THE CONJURING. 

Directed by David F. Sandberg (LIGHTS OUT) and co-produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, creators of THE CONJURING and INSIDIOUS horror film franchises, the new film tells of a dollmaker and his wife, several years after the tragic death of their little girl, who welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, who soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Wallfisch has scored Sandberg’s LIGHTS OUT (2016) and the forthcoming remake of Stephen King’s IT, and, in association with Hans Zimmer, has contributed to the scores of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, HIDDEN FIGURES, DUNKIRK, and the forthcoming BLADE RUNNER 2049 [see story here].

WaterTower Music is releasing a digital soundtrack next week, with the CD version coming from Silva Screen Records on the 25th.
