DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Movie To be Scored by Lorne Balfe
One of the busiest composers at the moment, Lorne Balfe is set to score DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES, a new fantasy action-adventure comedy film based on the tabletop role-playing game. The film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant and takes place in the campaign setting of the Forgotten Realms. This film is serving as a reboot to its film series.
The plot resolves around a charming thief (Chris Pine) and his band of unlikely adventurers as they embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people, led by the big bad guy (Hugh Grant).
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on March 3, 2023, by Paramount Pictures.
