STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Scored by Nami Melumad

Nami Melumad (STAR TREK: PRODIGY, ABSENTIA, THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GIRL IN THE WINDOW) is the score composer of the upcoming Paramount+ series STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS. Jeff Russo (STAR TREK: DISCOVERY & PICARD, FARGO, LEGION) has composed the main and end titles music.

This STAR TREK: DISCOVERY spin-off is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise and stars Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One ,and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The animated series Melumad has previously scored, STAR TREK: PRODIGY (main theme by Michael Giacchino), which has been renewed for a second season (soundtrack available on Amazon); she also scored the “Q&A” episode of the animated STAR TREK: SHORT TREKS.

STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS is set to premiere on Paramount+ on May 5, 2022, and its first 10-episode season will run through July 7. A second season was announced in January 2022, and began filming a month later.
