Daniel Rojas’ Score for HIT-MONKEY Released – Series Premiered Today
Premiering on Hulu today, MARVEL’S HIT-MONKEY – or simply HIT-MONKEY – is an adult animated streaming television series created based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Costa Rican musician and composer Daniel Rojas has scored the ten-episode, animated series. Rojas previously scored Marvel’s adult animated series M.O.D.O.K., which premiered earlier this year. As with that series, a digital soundtrack has been released of his HIT-MONEY score by Marvel Music, available on Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, and the other usual sources.
HIT-MONKEY tells the tale of an unjustly wronged Japanese snow monkey, mentored by the ghost of an American assassin, as he cuts a wide swath through the Tokyo underworld. The show’s voice cast includes Fred Tatasciore as Hit-Monkey, Jason Sudeikis as Bryce, his ghostly mentor (his ongoing banter supplies much of the show’s wit and humor), along with George Takei, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, and Nobi Nakanishi.
All 10 episodes of MARVEL’S HIT-MONKEY are now streaming on Hulu.
