Drum & Lace and Ian Hultquist Scoring Amazon’s I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER TV Series
Amazon Prime Video will premiere the teen horror streaming television series I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER this coming October. The series is based on the 1973 novel of the same name by Lois Duncan, which was (loosely) adapted into the 1997 film of the same name and subsequent film franchise. The 8-episode limited series follows a group of teenagers, in a town full of secrets, who are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.
Sara Goodman (PREACHER, GOSSIP GIRL) is the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Atomic Monsters’s James Wan (AQUAMAN, FURIOUS 7, MALIGNANT, THE CONJURING) & Michael Clear (MACGYVER, SWAMP THING), Erik Feig (STEP UP, WRONG TURN), Rob Hackett, Shay Hatten (ARMY OF THE DEAD, JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 – PARABELLUM), Neal H. Moritz (FAST & FURIOUS, I AM LEGEND), Pavun Shetty (THE BOYS, HAPPY!), as well as Craig William Macneill (LIZZIE, THE BOY) who also directed the first episode.
The husband-and-wife composing partners Drum & Lace (THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ANDRÉ, GOOD GIRLS, DEADLY ILLUSIONS)and Ian Hultquist (ASSASSINATION NATION, ANIMALS, DIE IN A GUNFIGHT) have been signed to score the series.
