Indie Horror WINTERSKIN: Score by S.T.R.S.G.N and Europaweite Aussichten Debuts March 29
Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to WINTERSKIN, an indie horror film directed by Charlie Steeds (THE HOUSE OF VIOLENT DESIRE, ESCAPE FROM CANNIBAL FARM, DEADMAN APOCALYPSE). The film features a score by electronic musicians S.T.R.S.G.N and Europaweite Aussichten, who previously collaborated on the 2017 soundtrack to indie horror short, THE SEEKER.
If S.T.R.S.G.N sounds familiar, his solo album, Beyond, was released on Lakeshore last year.
The Movie: WINTERSKIN is the fourth horror feature from director Steeds and stars David R. Lenik and Rowena Bentley. Summary: Whilst hunting in the snowy wilderness, Billy takes refuge in a seemingly abandoned log cabin when he suffers a shotgun wound to the leg. Inside, kind and kooky lone inhabitant, old lady Agnes, is keen to nurse Billy back to health. But Billy soon learns this is no ordinary cabin, when Agnes warns him of the sinister skinless creatures that lurk in the surrounding snowy forest at night, leaving them trapped together inside the cabin…
The movie is coming soon to VOD and DVD from Dark Temple Motion Pictures and High Octane Pictures.. Follow the film on twitter.
The Composers: S.T.R.S.G.N is the moniker of Stewart Hamilton, an electronic music composer and producer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Stewart creates music inspired by film and television, particularly in the retro horror, science fiction and crime genres. Europaweite Aussichten is the music project of Sam Freissler, an electronic music composer and producer based in Germany. Sam’s music is inspired by the style and sound of 70s and 80s.
