Varèse Sarabande Offers Reissue of STAR TREK: The Deluxe Edition in its September CD Club Releases
Among the mouth-watering limited edition soundtracks announced in Varèse Sarabande’s September 2019 CD Club roster is a much-requested reissue of their 2010 Deluxe Edition of Michael Giacchino’s score to J.J. Abrams STAR TREK reboot. The limited 5000-copy original release sold out a decade ago. The packaging has been streamlined to a standard jewel case, but the track listing remains identical and includes the abundance of previously released cues. This is a limited edition of 1500 copies and sure to sell out.
The other two CD Club releases announced by the label are Jerry Goldsmith’s AIR FORCE ONE: The Deluxe Edition, offering 46 tracks across 2 CDs in a limited edition of 4000 copies, and the first-ever soundtrack release of Laurence Rosenthal’s score to ROOSTER COGBURN, John Wayne’s sequel film to TRUE GRIT, in a limited edition ot 1500 copies.
