Brandon Campbell’s score for anime series PACIFIC RIM: THE BLACK due out next Friday
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the upcoming American anime-style streaming television series, based on the first two live-action PACIFIC RIM films. The soundtrack features music from the show’s first season composed by Brandon Campbell (SLENDER MAN, THE THINNING, AMAZING STORIES) who previously served as a score coordinator for composer Ramin Djawadi on Guillermo del Toro’s first PACIFIC RIM feature as well as composing additional music for Djawadi’s ELEPHANT, WESTWORLD, PERSON OF INTEREST, and serving as a technical score advisor for GAME OF THRONES.
PACIFIC RIM BLACK was created by Greg Johnson & Craig Kyle and features the voices of Gideon Adlon, Calum Worthy, and Erica Lindbeck. The show centers on two siblings who pilot a Jaeger to search for their parents after Australia has been ravaged by various Kaiju; in the process they encounter new creatures, seedy characters, and chance allies.
The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, March 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The series premieres Thursday, March 4 exclusively on Netflix.
