Milan to Release 3 Soundtracks from Colin Stetson on Friday

Milan Records will release three new soundtrack albums by Colin Stetson this coming Friday, November 13.

COLOR OUT OF SPACE (More Music From the Motion Picture) presents additional music from Richard Stanley’s 2019 adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft’s COLOR OUT OF SPACE, starring Nicolas Cage. Milan Records previously issued a soundtrack from the film in January 2019; this release provides previously unreleased music from the film.

THE WAR SHOW (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) premiers Stetson’s music from the 2016 documentary that follows Syrian radio host Obaidah Zytoon, beginning with peaceful Arab Spring protests in 2011.

DELIVER US (Original Series Soundtrack) offers Stetson’s score for the 2019 Danish television show, which centers on five characters in a small town who join forces to murder the local town psycho, only to realize that once you start playing God, it’s easy to end up as the Devil.

I’m “very happy to be partnering with Milan Records in putting out some of my previous scores from TV and film that I’ve long wanted to share with everyone,” Stetson said in a statement. “My music for the fantastic Danish production DELIVER US and that of THE WAR SHOW, Andreas Dalsgaard and Obaidah Zytoon’s documentary of the recent horrors in Syria’s civil war; as well as 20 extra minutes of music from Richard Stanley’s excellent COLOR OUT OF SPACE, featuring some truly twisted cues from the movie.”
