Étienne Forget’s Music for Season 2 of French sf TV series MISSIONS Released
MISSIONS is a hit French-made science-fiction television series first broadcast in 2017 and produced in France by Empreinte Digitale. Set in the near future, it depicts the first manned mission to Mars as the spacecraft is now approaching the Red Planet. The crew includes top-flight scientists and a young female psychiatrist, responsible for their mental health. But just as they are about to land, something goes wrong.
MISSIONS was created by Ami Cohen, Henri Debeurme and Julien Lacombe and is produced by Empreinte Digitale of Paris. It was first broadcast in June 2017 on the French pay-TV channel OCS. Funded in part by AMC it airs in the US on their Shudder streaming service. In the UK it’s broadcast free-to-air on British BBC4. A second Series 2 was filmed in 2018 and debuted late that same year. – and by Shudder’s parent company, AMC Networks.
Sony Music Soundtracks has just released the soundtrack of MISSIONS Season 2 with original music composed by Étienne Forget (HERO CORP, VICTOR HUGO – ENEMY OF THE STATE, UNE ESPÈCE À PART). Forget’s first season score was released digitally in 2017 and can he heard or purchased here.
