Joe Kraemer Doctor Who Audio Adv. Soundtrack, THE SPECIALS Blu-Ray, Among La-La Land’s July Releases
Among La-La Land Records announced July offerings is the soundtrack by Joe Kraemer (PANDORA, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: ROGUE NATION, JACK REACHER, THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT) to the Big Finish Doctor Who Audio Adventure, ESCAPE TO DANGER. This is one of a number of Audio Adventures that Kraemer has scored for Big Finish, and one of the first to have its music preserved on CD. La-La Land will also release the premier Blu-Ray edition of the 2000 film THE SPECIALS, an action comedy directed by Craig Mazin (SUPERHERO MOVIE) and written by James Gunn (SUPER, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, THE SUICIDE SQUAD), about “the sixth or seventh best superhero team in the world pursue their rightful place in the harshly competitive world of toy tie-ins and fighting evil.” The film stars Jordan Ladd, Rob Lowe, Jamie Kennedy, and Thomas Haden Church, with music by Brian Langsbard.
The label will also release the premiere extended 2-CD edition of Ennio Morricone’s score for Don Siegel’s 1970 Western TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA. These offerings will be available on July 14th; with a soundtrack to Rod Lurie’s 2020 Middle-East war film THE OUTPOST, composed by Larry Groupé (THE CONTENDER, 2011’s STRAW DOGS, CATS DANCING ON JUPITER), which releases July 28.
