Marvel Music/Hollywood Records released today the original score composed by John Paesano to the web series, MARVEL’S THE DEFENDERS. Streaming exclusively on Netflix, the series follows Daredevil AKA Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist AKA Danny Rand (Finn Jones), a quartet of singular heroes – four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who reluctantly realize they just might be stronger when teamed together in order to save New York City. Paesano composed the music for DAREDEVIL’s first two seasons, while each of the other series features different styles of music by other composers (JESSICA JONES: Sean Callery; LUKE CAGE: Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad; IRON FIST: Trevor Morris). Paesano’s music an orchestrally-based score, with sonic elements interspersed from the music or sound design of the other series. The soundtrack is available on amazon, iTunes, and other digital music listening platforms.
