THE LIVING DEAD GIRL and DRACULA’S FIANCÉE soundtracks announced

The Omega Productions Records has announced an exclusive double feature entitled Philippe d’Aram for Jean Rollin, opus 3 & 6 and including the soundtracks of French cinefantastique director Jean Rollin’s THE LIVING DEAD GIRL (1982) and DRACULA’S FIANCÉE (2002), put together for the first time on a single CD.

Philippe d'Aram for Jean Rollin combo

As a composer inseparable of the universe of Jean Rollin, Philippe d’Aram composed for THE LIVING DEAD GIRL a score both dark and melancholic. Twenty years later, the similar sounds of DRACULA’S FIANCEE – from percussion to synthesizers and string pieces –echo it. This multifaceted musical treatment serves perfectly Rollin’s mesmerizing and provocative images.

Straight from Philippe d’Aram’s original master tapes, then remastered by Julien Louvet and Martin Bowes, this edition contains for the first time the full score of THE LIVING DEAD GIRL, including three unpublished tracks. With the help of Daniel Gouyette, DRACULA’S FIANCÉE is released for the first time on physical media in its full version.

A 16-page booklet includes bilingual (French/English) notes by the composer and an introduction by Lucas Giorgini, as well as numerous photos from the director’s archives. This edition also offers two reversible covers.

Philippe d’Aram for Jean Rollin, opus 3 & 6 is a limited collector’s edition of 500 copies with a postcard.
