Enjoy this splendid suite from John Powell’s score to HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD
Back Lot Music has unveiled John Powell’s marvelous “Hidden World Suite” from his score to the new animated fantasy, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD.
Back Lot will release the full soundtrack on February 1st, while the movie premiers in theaters on February 22 (it was already released in Australia on January 3, 2019; lucky down-unders!).
Powell composed richly orchestral scores for both 2010’s HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON and its first sequel, 2014’s HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2. All three films are based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures.
The soundtrack album contains 16 score tracks, and a closing song, “Together From Afar,” performed by Jónsi. It can be pre-ordered now at iTunes/Apple Music, and VGMDB.
