WELCOME TO THE BLUMHOUSE: NOCTURNE Soundtrack by Gazelle Twin Forthcoming

NOCTURNE is the latest installment of Amazon’s horror series now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The soundtrack features score by Elizabeth Bernholz (as Gazelle Twin). Bernholz is an English electronic music composer, producer and musician from Brighton, England who is currently based in Leicestershire, England. She is better known by her stage name Gazelle Twin. Her previous film credit is collaborating with Max de Wardener on the music for Corinna Faith’s 2020 film THE POWER, currently pending release.

Listen to Gazelle Twin’s track “Juliet’s Rage” from the film, exclusively posted to thequietus.com. “The director wanted there to be a strong appearance of feminine rage featuring heavily in the score, building around the classical pieces,” Gazelle Twin is quoted by Christian Eede at thequietus. “She wanted to use some of my existing tracks, ‘Unflesh’ and ‘Belly Of The Beast,’ in a couple of scenes, so I took leave from the vocal style of ‘Unflesh,’ which has a lot of strong chest singing inspired by Bulgarian Folksong.”

NOCTURNE is written and directed by Zu Quirke in her breakout feature debut, and stars Sydney Sweeney (EUPHORIA, THE HANDMAID’S TALE, PLAYER’S TABLE), Madison Iseman (JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL, ANNABELLE COMES HOME), Jacques Colimon (THE SOCIETY) and Ivan Shaw (INSECURE, CASUAL). The film follows an incredibly gifted pianist who makes a Faustian bargain to overtake her older sister at a prestigious institution for classical musicians.

NOCTURNE is executive produced by Jason Blum, Lisa Bruce, Marci Wiseman, Jeremy Gold, Matthew Myers and Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly. The soundtrack is scheduled to be released digitally on December 18 via Invada Records and Lakeshore Records
