Mark Isham Kicks Off Music Experiment on Season 2 of Marvel’s CLOAK & DAGGER

Marvel’s CLOAK & DAGGER saw much success after season 1 was ranked #6 of the most popular new shows for music discovery of 2018, and the fun has just begun.

This year, the show has decided to run an experiment in recent episodes by creating a musical theme throughout the story by using one single song, reimagined multiple ways.

It’s not surprising that they had Mark Isham kick off this musical experiment with the instrumental version of familiar melody “In The Sweet By And By.”

See below to watch a segment from Season 2’s Episode 6 which includes this music:

Marvel’s CLOAK & DAGGER is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart, but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.

Watch all new episodes of Marvel’s CLOAK & DAGGER Season 2 Thursdays at 8/7c on Freeform.
