Marvel Drops Trailer for WEREWOLF BY NIGHT

WEREWOLF BY NIGHT is an upcoming television special directed by Michael Giacchino for the streaming service Disney+, based on Marvel Comics. It is intended to be the first television special in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The special is produced by Marvel Studios. The hour long film follows a lycanthrope superhero who fights crime using the abilities given to him by a curse brought on by his bloodline.

Composer Michael Giacchino is directing the special. It’s not the composer’s first time in the director’s chair, having directed (and scored) the “Ephraim and Dot” animated episode of STAR TREK: SHORT TREKS as well as directing, writing, and scoring the short 2018 film MONSTER CHALLENGE, starring Patton Oswald. It’s not known yet is Giacchino will score the WEREWOLF BY NIGHT special or not, although it’s likely since he scored his previous two directorial efforts

Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation of WEREWOLF BY NIGHT begins streaming on October 7 only on Disney+, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
