Bishara Scores Latest James Wan Horror Thriller MALIGNANT
Specialty horror composer Joseph Bishara has scored MALIGNANT, an upcoming horror thriller directed by James Wan. Bishara has previously composed the frightening music for all seven films in The Conjuring Universe, created by Wan in the first two films in what’s become a shared universe centered on a series of supernatural horror films, as well as such potently scary films as as THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA (2019), THE PRODIGY (2019), and THE UNHOLY (2021).
MALIGNANT stars Annabelle Wallis as a woman paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically and on HBO Max in the US on September 10, 2021, by Warner Bros. Pictures/New Line Cinema.
