The music is a delight, a pleasing mix of light ‘60s-ish jazz that lends a lovely lighthearted vibe over which the fanciful tale proceeds. “I had a chance to go back to my jazzy self with this, and it was an absolute joy!” Pinar posted on her Facebook page.

PURL is directed by Kristen Lester and produced by Gillian Libbert-Duncan, and features the voices of Bret “Brook” Parker (as Purl), Jimmy Lillard, Michael Yates, and Emily Davis.
