Survival Thriller OXYGEN Scored by French Composer ROB

The latest film from Alexandre Aja (THE HILLS HAVE EYES, CRAWL, PIRANHA 3D) is OXYGEN, a French survival thriller starring Mélanie Laurent, Mathieu Amalric, and Malik Zidi tells the story of a young woman who wakes up in a cryogenic pod, not remembering who she is or how she ended up there, and must rebuild her memory to find a way out of her nightmare before running out of air.

The film features a tense score by composer ROB (aka Robin Coudert) (MANIAC, GRETEL & HANSEL, TROY: FALL OF A CITY, PLANETARIUM, AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING); he rejoins Aja after having scored the director’s fantasy thriller HORNS in 2014.

Born in Caen, France in 1978, Robin Coudert, alias ROB, is a musician, author, singer, composer, producer. He began learning music with the classical trumpet at the age of 8, and continued his instruction with the synthesizer and the piano, and thus created his first electronic compositions at the age of 10. In 2001 Source Rocks released ROB’s first music album, and his career has since taken off, continuing in cinema, TV series, and documentaries with more than 30 original compositions to date.

Oxygen will premiere on May 12, 2021 exclusively on Netflix worldwide.
