New INDIANA JONES movie will be scored by John Williams

It has been confirmed today by Lucasfilm John Williams is set to return as the composer of the currently untitled fifth installment in the Indiana Jones film series. James Mangold (LOGAN, FORD V. FERRARI, 3:10 TO YUMA) will; direct the new film, which will star Harrison Ford in the title role, alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Williams was previously attached to score the fifth installment when Steven Spielberg was set to direct the film in 2016; Spielberg is now set to produce the new film along Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel. INDIANA JONES 5 is planned for a July 29, 2022 release via Walt Disney Pictures.
