Creepy Horror Thriller DEATH OF ME Scored by Mark Sayfritz

Luke Hemsworth and Maggie Q star in Saban Film’s latest thriller, DEATH OF ME. Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II-IV, REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, TALES OF HALLOWEEN, THE BARRENS) and written by Ari Margolis, James Morley III, and David Tish, the film tells the tale of a couple who awake hungover and with no memory of the previous night while vacationing on an island off the coast of Thailand. They find footage on a camera, and watch, horrified, as the man appears to murder the woman. With twenty-four hours until the next ferry and a typhoon threatening the island, they attempt to reconstruct the night’s events—and are snared in a web of mystery, black magic, and murder.

Recording artist, composer, and music producer, Mark Sayfritz has composed the films’ score. Sayfritz has been active in started scoring and sound designing films in 2005, and has worked on such releases as Bousman’s ABATTOIR and ST. AGATHA, as well as the horror films DEADTECTIVES, THE DEVIL YOU KNOW, DEAD MAN RUNNING, and the TV series SNATCH, based on the Guy Ritchie movie.

DEATH OF ME was completed last October and is currently scheduled for an online premiere on October 2, 2020.
