Mark Korven Scores Netflix’s NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE
In Netflix’s forthcoming film NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE, Cristina Rodlo plays Ambar, an immigrant in search of the American dream, who makes the deadly mistake of moving into an inescapable haunted boarding house. The horror thriller, based on the novel by Adam Nevill (The Ritual), is directed by Santiago Menghini and stars Cristina Rodlo, Marc Menchaca, David Figlioli, David Barrera and Moronke Akinola.
Mark Korven has composed the film’s original music. He is best known for his work on the 2016 period horror film THE WITCH, which won the best director award at the 2015 Sundance festival for director Robert Eggers, and went on to earn $40 million at the box office. Korven also scored Egger’s follow up THE LIGHTHOUSE starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson; the film won the Critics Prize at the Cannes Film Festival 2019. His scores have been nominated 14 times for Canadian film and television awards, winning several times. He’s also recently scored Amazon Prime’s series THEM /2021/04/06/them-horrors/ (2021), Vincenzo Natali’s CUBE (1997) and IN THE TALL GRASS (2019), and the second season (“Infamy”) of the AMC series THE TERROR (2019).
NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE will premiere on September 29, 2021 exclusively on Netflix.
