Frederik Wiedmann Scores WONDER WOMAN: BLOODLINES – Preview Clips Revealed

The 13th installment of the DC Animated Movie Universe—and the 36th overall film in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line—is WONDER WOMAN: BLOODLINES. The film will serve as a prequel to 2014’s JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR.

In BLOODLINES, Diana Prince/Wonder Woman is determined to help a troubled and embittered young girl who has fallen in with a deadly organization known only as Villainy Inc., whose criminal members have their sights set on invading Themyscira, Diana’s paradise home. The voice cast includes Rosario Dawson (as Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman), Jeffrey Donovan (as Steve Trevor), Marie Avgeropoulos (as Diana’s adversary Vanessa Kapatelis/Silver Swan), and Adrienne C. Moore (as Diana’s friend Etta Candy).

The film’s music has been composed by Emmy-Award winning composer, and a veteran scorer of DC animated films, Frederik Wiedmann (BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT, REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN, BATMAN: HUSH, DEATH OF SUPERMAN).

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film arrives—accompanied by the DC Showcase animated short DEATH, inspired by Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman”—from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will premiere at the New York Comic Con on Friday Oct 4, then will release on digital starting October 5, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, and Blu-ray Combo Pack on October 22, 2019.

DC has released two short clips from the forthcoming animated film to youtube (watch them both below). The first, “Robot Fight,” features Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, and Etta Candy:

The second clip, “Silver Swan Revealed,” shows the film’s introduction to Silver Swan:
