Hans Zimmer & Steve Mazzaro Score Snyder Prequel ARMY OF THIEVES for Netflix

Director Matthias Schweighöfer has announced that Hans Zimmer and Steve Mazzaro will score the upcoming Netflix original film ARMY OF THIEVES. This prequel to Zack Snyder’s ARMY OF THE DEAD (scored by Tom Holkenborg) follows a small-town bank teller who gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe. The film stars Schweighöfer, who reprises his role as Ludwig Dieter (the safecracker in ARMY OF THE DEAD), along with a supporting cast that includes Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei in GAME OF THRONES), Guz Khan (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, TURN UP CHARLIE, MAN LIKE MOBEEN), Ruby O. Fee (THE INVISIBLES, POLAR, ALS WIR TRÄUMTEN), and Noemie Nakai (DEATH NOTE: NEW GENERATION and LIGHT UP THE NEW WORLD, HIGH & LOW).

ARMY OF THIEVES will premiere later this year on Netflix.
