AN ENGLISH HAUNTING Features a Score by Graham Plowman

A English Haunting posterComposer Graham Plowman, known for his atmospheric orchestral music works inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft and other authors, has completed his most recent film score, the British indie ghost film, AN ENGLISH HAUNTING. Written and directed by Charlie Steeds (THE BARGE PEOPLE, WINTERSKIN, THE HOUSE OF VIOLENT DESIRE, DEADMAN APOCALYPSE, ESCAPE FROM CANNIBAL FARM), the film is set in 1960s England, wherein Blake Cunningham and his alcoholic mother are forced to move into the mysterious Clemonte Hall, a vast isolated manor house, to care for his dying Grandfather who resides in the attic room. Soon, ghostly goings-on fill the house with dread, as it becomes apparent Grandfather’s illness may have a supernatural cause that can only be cured by uncovering the terrifying secrets of the house and its dark history.

The Dark Temple Motion Pictures production stars David Lenik (THE CURSE OF HALLOWEEN JACK; ROBERT REBORN; WINTERSKIN), Tessa Wood (THE LAST HOUSE ON CEMETERY LANE), Barrington De La Roche, and Emma Spurgin Hussey (THE CURSE OF HOBBES HOUSE; THE BARGE PEOPLE).

The film is currently available to watch on Amazon UK Prime with a DVD release date there of April 27. Amazon US has not yet identified a Prime or DVD availability date.

Plowman, who composed the score to ARTHUR AND MERLIN for director Marco van Belle in 2015, is rejoining van Bell to compose the music to ARTHUR & MERLIN: THE FIRE OF BELOR, which is now in pre-production. Late last year he scored the Mexican horror film, MARK OF THE DEVIL, for director Diego Cohen.
