Nathan Barr Scores Amazon Prime’s CARNIVAL ROW

The new Amazon Original series CARNIVAL ROW is a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological creatures. Feared by humans, they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom.

Starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, The neo-noir fantasy web television series was created by René Echevarria (writer/producer: TERRA NOVE, MEDIUM, THE 4400, STAR TREK DS9) and Travis Beacham (writer: PACIFIC RIM, CLASH OF THE TITANS, HIEROGLYPH), co-written by Echevarria, Beacham, and Peter Cameron (LOST IN THE PACIFIC, FLIGHT FROM HELL), and is scheduled to premiere on August 30, 2019 on Prime Video.

Scoring the new series is Nathan Barr (TRUE BLOOD, THE AMERICANS, THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS, CABIN FEVER), a composer who has gained a reputation for including different obscure instruments in his scores.

CARNIVAL ROW will follow “mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists.”
